The theme of the 2018 Annual Indonesian Festival Houston is “Remarkable Indonesia”. Vendors will be on-site showcasing Indonesian products, including culinary finds, home goods, apparel and accessories. Live dance performances and a batik fashion show will also be included. Come mingle with neighbors and friends while learning about Indonesian tourism and Indonesia’s influence on the rich international profile of Houston.
The festival is a promotional event which will take on a “market” concept, which is inspired by the open air “Pasar” or markets typical of many in Indonesia where everyone gathers for social events, community interests, food stalls, and trade.
