Having a well-stocked pantry allows you to be creative with your meals. Staples like rolled oats, canned beans and fish, nut butter, and whole grains are extremely versatile and nutritious. You don’t have to worry about making a hot breakfast each morning when you put this porridge in the slow cooker before bed. You’ll awaken to a cinnamon-laced, slightly sweet pot of comfort food. It’s easy to store in the refrigerator and reheat and keeps for several days. Just add a dollop of Greek yogurt or nut butter to boost the protein, if desired.
